This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Howes Lakes is great fun, West Fork Campground is a great local campground, and some nearby water includes Fish Creek. Lakes are perfect; Cody Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Howes Lakes, and Howes Lakes is a great place to camp, Cave Mountain Campground is a great place. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. Get your heart       beating on the great whitewater of Two Medicine River; why not take a refreshing hike along the West Fork Jones Creek National Recreation Trail. Howes Lakes is located in the Lewis Range. All the outdoors cool things in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back persistently. Take a hike on the Jones Creek National Recreation Trail, and on a delightful day you acquire a great view of Split Mountain from Howes Lakes. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors                  cool stuff the area near Howes Lakes has to offer. Hiking along the Bowl Divide Trail is perfect fun; if you need a site to stay Glacier Motel is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Fish Lake Dam is not far at all from Howes Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at St Mary Lodge & Resort. Not much precipitation falls here at Howes Lakes; June is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. During the warm months at Howes Lakes highs are generally in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
