Howe Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Howe Lake is pretty dehydrated commonly; during December this area sees the most snow, and April is when it's the driest. Camping is available at Fish Creek Campground; Glacier Highland Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The South Boundary Trail offers hiking at its best, and a delightful place like Christensen Meadows here at Howe Lake is too splendid to miss.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Glacier National Park is a magnificent spot close to Howe Lake, and at Howe Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell. Having a brilliant time in the Lewis Range is simple. Good hiking is available along the Howe Lake Trail; if you need a location to stay Middle Fork River Inn is a magnificent choice.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Lewis Range. | |

Howe Creek is in close proximity to Howe Lake and is always a diversion to stop at, and if you came for an overnight stay Apgar Campground is a pleasant place to camp. Howe Lake really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and there's perfect hiking along the Camas Creek Trail.
Summer at Howe Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's
while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Howe Lake drop into the 0's.
