     Howe Lake is a nice lake to visit. Why not camp at Fish Creek Campground while you're here at Howe Lake; if you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great choice. During the warm months at Howe Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Howe Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. If only every place had this  
   much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Here at Howe Lake there are plenty of people from Kalispell, and a great nearby hotel is Bad Rock B&B.
The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. Howe Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated usually; the month with most of the snow is December; April on the other hand is the driest. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back persistently. On a good day at
 
               Howe Lake you can take a hike along the Howe Lake Trail, and why not explore close by Howe Creek since you're here at Howe Lake.
Flathead River - Middle Fork is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Howe Lake, and Glacier National Park is a very good place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Apgar Campground is a delightful site to camp, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the South Boundary Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. While you're here at Howe Lake it's a great idea to go to Christensen Meadows; the Camas Creek Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
