If you are in Lincoln county it's always a good idea to stop by Howard Lake. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains. Howard Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Howard Lake Campground is a good site to camp nearby, unsurprisingly you could also visit Bramlet Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. If you're here at Howard Lake, you could stop by Howard Creek; after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Libby is a pleasant

| | spot to spend a night or two. Howard Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Howard Lake has to offer. On a nice day at Howard Lake you can take a hike along the Teeters Peak Trail, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Turner Mountain.
Float down
the rapids of Vermilion River in a kayak, and from Howard Lake you get a pleasant sight of Midas Point. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Howard Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Creek
Campground, and going for a hike on the Lake Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure. During the summer months at Howard Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures
all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Howard Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
