Throughout the days of summer at Howard Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Howard Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Hit the slopes at Turner Mountain in close proximity; you can stay the night at Howard Lake Campground. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this

Howard Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cabinet Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Teeters Peak Trail, and on a pretty day you acquire a magnificent sight of Midas Point from Howard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cabinet Mountains. Howard Creek is a tremendous site to take a look at, and whitewater
paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Vermilion River. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the Cabinet Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Libby,
and Howard Lake is right by the Libby Divide Trail.
Howard Lake is a good place of common precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July.
