Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Horte Reservoir is a fine location to visit for more than one day, K O A Kampgrounds is a fine location to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Bayview Inn Budget Host Polson. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Horte Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows through                  the winter for Horte Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. There's good hiking along the Kennedy Creek Trail, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a perfect panorama of Round Butte from Horte Reservoir. Willow Creek Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski!
