If you came to camp Hells Canyon Campground is a glorious spot to do that, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel Big Timber. Horseshoe Lake is pretty dry usually; of all the months in       a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder River, and unsurprisingly Rainbow Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Absaroka Range has to offer. There's perfect hiking                  along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hicks Park Campground is a great spot for that; a perfect sight of stunning Hicks Peak is available. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Summertime highs at Horseshoe Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Horseshoe Lake.
