What a nice lake Horseshoe Lake is. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Horseshoe Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Falls Creek Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby; Boulder River is a great whitewater spot nearby. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Take a side trip to Grouse Creek, and you can run the rapids of Boulder River - West.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Redfield Lake is a pleasant lake near Horseshoe Lake, and a magnificent close by hotel is Murray Hotel. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range. After a long day outdoors Livingston Super 8 Motel is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Horseshoe Lake is a location that is relatively dried out typically; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
