And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Horse Lakes. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Kootenai River. All through the summertime here at Horse Lakes, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures       at Horse Lakes dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Horse Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Pipe Creek Campground is a great site for that, and let's not forget Drop Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Horse Lakes; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest. Big Creek Baldy Mountain is painless                  to spot from Horse Lakes; Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Libby; do have a look at Tom Poole Lake, it's a lovely lake.
