Yeah, come up here to the Bitterroot Range for a great time. You get a tremendous view of Pyramid Buttes from Holloway Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Holloway Lake; Carlton Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail. Holloway Lake is pretty dehydrated regularly; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Don't leave Holloway Lake without first going for       a hike along the Sweeney Ridge Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Holloway Lake has to offer, you can camp at Charles Waters Memorial Campground. Good hiking is available along the Mill Creek Trail, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Duffy Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Fort Fizzle Campground; dry warm beds await you at Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain. Be careful coming                  to the Bitterroot Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Swamps like Meadow Creek are fun to have a look at, and get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Kootenai Creek. Holloway Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Brushy Fork near Holloway Lake. So much entertaining stuff next to Holloway Lake, just incredible. If you need a spot to stay Missoula-Days Inn is a great choice, and splendid water scenery is available at Holloway Lake Dam in close proximity to Holloway Lake. Through the summer highs here at Holloway Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
