It's always fun to stop by Holloway Lake. For the duration of the summertime here at Holloway Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Holloway Lake. Holloway Lake is mostly a pretty dehydrated place; the month with most of the rain is May, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Brushy Fork, and Super 8 Motel - Missoula/Brooks Street is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Holloway Lake; Carlton Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail, and a lake close by is Mills Lake. choice; a perfect place to camp here at Holloway Lake is Charles Waters Memorial Campground. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. If you don’t have a problem getting covered
with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai Creek, unsurprisingly you could also check out Duffy Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Swamps are attention-grabbing places and Meadow Creek near Holloway Lake
is no exception; if the weather is pretty, you get a glorious panorama of Pyramid Buttes from Holloway Lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. Good hiking is available along
the Mill Creek Trail, and there's always Holloway Lake Dam to stop by right next door to Holloway Lake. Holloway Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Fizzle Campground is a great local campground, and don't leave
Holloway Lake without first going for a hike along the Sweeney Ridge Trail. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.

 | 16 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore.
