This lake is so wonderful. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Hilltop Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hilltop Lake. This place, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Hilltop Lake is a perfect site       to visit for more than one day, Soda Butte Campground is a perfect site to camp nearby; the vista of Mount Fox is gorgeous. So many enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range, not sufficient time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Wall Lake is right next door to Hilltop Lake, and there are good spots to look at along the North Crandall Trail. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Hilltop Lake. Alp Rock is an interesting location to go to while at Hilltop                  Lake, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Stillwater River. This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Bob Lake is a lake in the vicinity. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hilltop Lake has to offer, you can camp at Colter Campground.
