Not far from Hill Reservoir you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Hill Reservoir Dam; while you're here at Hill Reservoir it's a good idea to take a look at Bow Basin. Take a hike on the Louise Lake National Recreation Trail, and Hill Reservoir is a tremendous site to camp, Balanced Rock Campground is a tremendous site. For the period of the warm days of summer at Hill Reservoir temperatures are usually       in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Hill Reservoir dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hill Reservoir is right by the Currant Creek Trail, and the top of Granite Peak is easily observed from Hill Reservoir. Not far from Hill Reservoir, you'll discover Granite Lake which is a beautiful lake, and after                  a long day outdoors Chick's Bar & Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The Quartz Hill Trail offers hiking at its best; you can stay the night at Mill Creek Campground. At Hill Reservoir you don’t see much rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Hill Reservoir has it all.
