Camping at Balanced Rock Campground is always a fine experience, and Mustard Pass is a fine spot to check out. It is very dried out here at Hill Reservoir frequently; most of the       rain falls all through June, and February is when it's the driest. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Hill Reservoir has it all. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Whitehall is a great place to spend a night or two, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Louise Lake National Recreation Trail. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Butte (Parkside), Mt is a delightful choice, and do take a hike on the Currant                  Creek Trail. Through the warm months at Hill Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows at Hill Reservoir all through the winter ordinarily fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You get a nice sight of Granite Peak from Hill Reservoir, and a delightful site like Bow Basin here at Hill Reservoir is too great to miss. This lake is so wonderful.
