Do stop by High Hope Lake while you're in this part of Montana. Hilgard Peak can be seen from High Hope Lake, and a tremendous location to camp here at High Hope Lake is Rock Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summer at High Hope Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
