Going for a hike on the Castle Rock Trail is always a great adventure; if you've had enough of Hidden Lakes, Hubbart Reservoir is close by. Stay the night at Rest A Day Campground. Hidden Lakes is pretty dried out usually; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are perfect locations to discover       along the Murr Peak Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hidden Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Rest-A-Day Campground. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Hidden Lakes, high temperatures typically reach the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's.
