If you came to camp Hicks Park Campground is a glorious location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Hidden Lake? McBride Lake is in close proximity; there's great hiking along the Coyote Creek Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder River offers some great whitewater, and great hiking is available along the Poacher Trail. Dry warm beds       await you at Comfort Inn Yellowstone North, and Hidden Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tower Fall Campground is a great local campground. Hidden Lake is pretty dried up usually; May is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This place, Hidden Lake, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Float down the rapids of Boulder River in a kayak, and you can go for a hike on the Buffalo Plateau Trail. This lake                  is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
