Hidden Lake is one of the lakes here in the Big Belt Mountains. From Hidden Lake you get a nice vista of Mount Baldy. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Big Belt Mountains. Hidden Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Toston Dam Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and Hidden Lake is not the only place close by, Upper Baldy Lake is a close by lake.       Hidden Lake is a location that is pretty waterless generally; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. High temperatures at Hidden Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Hidden Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Skidway Campground is                  a brilliant local campground; there's delightful hiking along the Divide Trail.
