It's always fun to stop by Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Buckhorn Mountain is charming and can be observed from here. Camping at Copper Creek Campground is always a good experience, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Moyie River. A journey to Canuck Pass is always fun, and Yaak River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.

| | Summertime highs at Hidden Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Hidden Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Not much rain falls here at Hidden Lake; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. and a beautiful lake like Lake Florence is a brilliant place to explore. This lake is so wonderful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Hidden Lake. On a good day at Hidden Lake you can take
a hike along the Copper Creek Trail, and you'll come across a gorgeous lake called Spruce Lake. While you're here at Hidden Lake you can take a hike along the Ruby Ridge Trail, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Newton Gulch Trail.
