Why not take a refreshing hike along the Backside Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Red Lion Colonial Hotel. Throughout the warm months at Hidden Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hidden Lake are in the 0's. But wait, there's       more to do next to Hidden Lake. The top of Crow Peak is easily seen from Hidden Lake, and get covered with water paddling on Boulder River. Here at Hidden Lake you'll probably meet some people from Helena; a good place to camp here at Hidden Lake is Sunset Trailer Court. The 1906 Trail offers hiking at its best. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hidden Lake; Fetters Trail is a perfect local trail, and after a long day outdoors Elkhorn Mountain Inn                  is a pleasant site to spend a night or two.
