Herrin Lakes is located in the Lewis Range. So many fun things to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. Smith Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and McCarthy Gulch is close at hand, and is a tremendous place. This lake is so wonderful. A great forest in close proximity to Herrin Lakes is Lincoln State Forest, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Red Mountain Trail. There's no way       somebody can get bored here in the Lewis Range. While you're here at Herrin Lakes you can take a hike along the Liverpool Snowbank Trail, and Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Yeah, come here to Herrin Lakes for a great time. A lake close by is Copper Lake, and Canyon Creek is in the neighborhood of Herrin Lakes and is always a joy to pop by. Camping is available at Hooper Park Campground, and if the                  weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Gould Helmville Trail. Herrin Lake Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Herrin Lakes, and a nice place to camp here at Herrin Lakes is Sleepy Hollow Trailer Court. The warmest time of the year at Herrin Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Herrin Lakes throughout the winter frequently fall into the 10's.
