You can run the rapids of Gallatin River in the neighborhood of Hermit Lake, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a tremendous view of Blaze Mountain from Hermit Lake. After a long day outdoors Arrowhead is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Castle Rock Inn if you're here at Hermit Lake. Go for a hike on the Eldridge Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Bozeman. This lake is so wonderful.
