What a nice lake Hermit Lake is. You simply should pop by Snowbank Glacier while you're here at Hermit Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Rosebud Creek - East offers some great whitewater. Having a great time in the Absaroka Range is uncomplicated. Hiking along the Granite Loop Trail is pleasant fun, and if you get bored of Hermit Lake you could also pop by nearby Big Butte Lake. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range.

a kayak, and do take a hike on the Upper Granite Loop Trail.
Camping at Lake Creek Campground is always a good experience, and the snow is glorious at Red Lodge Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Hermit Lake is right by the
Copeland Lake Trail, and the summit of Snowbank Mountain can be seen from Hermit Lake. Hermit Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range.
