     Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hellroaring Lakes; Beartooth Highlakes Trail is a brilliant local trail, and a delightful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Red Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Yodeler Motel is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Beauty Lake Trail; do stop by Snowbank Lake, it's a pretty lake.
If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to
 
   the Absaroka Range. Good hiking is available along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay M-K Campground is a great place to camp. There's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you thrill seekers, and Hellroaring Plateau is a wonderful spot to stretch your legs a bit. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Hellroaring Lakes. A lovely lake like Hairpin Lake close to Hellroaring  
               Lakes is a glorious site to go to, and get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Rosebud Creek - East.
These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. The skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is pleasant; camping is available at Buena Vista Campground. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Hellroaring Lakes gets a typical amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
All through the summer at Hellroaring Lakes highs are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hellroaring Lakes.

My family went camping at Hunter Peak Campground for many summers when I was a teenager. We stayed at the very large two family campsite, the deepest if I remember right next to the path taking you to the bridge. My grandparents now rest there forever and so do my memories of childhood. I look forward to taking my family there one day, keeping with those wonderful family lines....
