Madison River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by; Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a good spot to get some rest. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - West Yellowstone, and close by you come across the Lightning Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking       trail. Hebgen Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cabin Creek Campground is a great place to camp nearby; the sight of Boat Mountain is beautiful. The warmest time of the year at Hebgen Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hebgen Reservoir. This                  lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Hebgen Reservoir you can take a hike along the Kirkwood Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hebgen Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Creek Campground 2. At Hebgen Reservoir you don’t see much rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Hebgen Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and Hebgen Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Dome Lake is a nearby lake. Beaver Creek flows through this region, and the Cutoff Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
