The waters of this lake include some splendid rainbow trout, trout, whitefish, brown trout, chub, cutthroat trout and mountain whitefish. A fishing trip to close by Jacklin's Outfitters is always a perfect idea; you can stay the night at Cabin Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a journey to nearby Cache Creek Outfitters and ride a horse, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike     along the Kirkwood Trail. Boat Mountain is pretty and can be distinguished from Hebgen Reservoir.
