    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Hebgen Lake. While you're here at Hebgen Lake, you could also go to pretty Axolotl Lake, and a wonderful place to camp here at Hebgen Lake is Beaver Creek Campground 2. The Wapiti Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and soar down the rapids of Madison River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - West Yellowstone is a wonderful place to get some rest, and some of the water nearby  
   flows, like Cabin Creek.
Around Hebgen Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during June, and January is the month with the least moisture. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort West Yellowstone Conference is a good choice, and Hebgen Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cabin Creek Campground is a good local campground.                hiking is available along the Kirkwood Trail, and the summit of Boat Mountain can be seen from Hebgen Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Hebgen Reservoir close to Hebgen Lake, it's a striking lake, and get covered with water paddling on Madison River. Hebgen Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out; hiking is a popular thing to do around Hebgen Lake; Cutoff Trail is a nice local trail.
Summertime highs at Hebgen Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Hebgen Lake tend to be in the 10's.
