This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Hyde Creek Trail is tremendous fun; camping at Camper Corner is always a brilliant experience. Around Heart Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. During the months of summer       at Heart Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Heart Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Heart Lake has to offer. After a long day outdoors Beaverhead is a glorious place to spend a night or two.                  Going for a hike along the Pedro Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; of course, this is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Reservoir Lake is a lake in close proximity.
