If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Heart Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Alp Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you need a place to stay Big Moose Resort is a good choice. Hiking along the Upper Granite Loop Trail is great fun, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Heart Lake
is a good site of common rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Heart Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's; through
summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Heart Lake plunge into the 0's. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful.
