    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Hearst Lake. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a fine choice, and a glorious view of gorgeous Mount Haggin is available. Discovery Ski is a very popular ski area close at hand; Hearst Lake Dam is pretty. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Hearst Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are  
   in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hearst Lake are in the 10's.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Canyon Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hearst Lake has to offer, you can camp at H-j RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Boulder Lakes Trail, and you can stay the night at Lost Creek Campground. You're probably addicted to lakes, Haggin Lake is one of those nearby.

               Hearst Lake if you go for the outdoors. Hiking along the Stine Creek Trail is good fun. Lakes are delightful; Barker Lakes is a lake that's in close proximity to Hearst Lake. Hearst Lake is pretty dry commonly; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest.

IT'S VERY SAD THAT A CALIFORNIA INVESTOR BOUGHT AND REMOVED THE LODGE, IT WILL NOW BE  500K CONDO'S INSTEAD....My husbands family owned Dentons Point Campground and lodge in the past. We were curious if the log cabin his Great-Grandma lived in is still standing and what changes have been made to the lodge.
