This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, East Lake is one of those close by. A common amount of rain falls here at Hauf Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Hauf Lake. On a splendid day at Hauf Lake you can take a hike along       the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Sand Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hauf Lake is near Hauf Lake, and a great nearby hotel is Townhouse Inn of Hamilton. Be careful coming to the Bitterroot Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. What would winter be without some skiing at Lost Trail, and the Sweeney Ridge Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.                  That right there is plenty of cool things already but it goes on, the Bitterroot Range has it all. If the weather is fine here at Hauf Lake, you can go for a hike along the Ward Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, White Sand Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. If you came for an overnight stay Riverside RV Park is a good site to camp; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a brilliant choice. You can take a little trip to Hauf Lake Dam if you're here at Hauf Lake; camping is available at Blodgett Canyon Campground. At Hauf Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's.
