There's so much to do here at Hatchet Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crazy Creek Campground is a pleasant place for that. One                  of the dominant features of the surroundings of Hatchet Lake is Crazy Mountain, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Rosebud Creek - West. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. The slopes of Red Lodge Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. If you get bored of Hatchet Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Jorden Lake, and Hatchet Lake is right by the Crazy Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
