The beauty of Hatchet Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. You get a great panorama of Crazy Mountain from Hatchet Lake; why not head up to Red Lodge Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Shrew Lake is a lake around here; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Rosebud Creek - West.
