    Do stop by Harrison Lake while you're in this part of Montana. That right there is loads of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and good hiking is available along the Gunsight Pass Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Harrison Lake has to offer, you can camp at Avalanche Campground, and you can  
   go for a hike on the Threetops Trail.
The warmest time of the year at Harrison Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Harrison Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Harrison Lake. One of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Harrison Lake is Loneman Mountain, and there are some great whitewater
 
               spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. A spree to Glacier National Park is worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Harrison Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sprague Creek Campground is a great location for that.
The yearly precipitation here at Harrison Lake is about average; the month with most of the snow is December; April is when it's the driest. If you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice, and there are great sites to look at along the Loneman Mountain Trail. Harrison Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range.
