Harrison Lake is located in the Lewis Range. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Lewis Range. Do pay a visit to Glacier National Park while you're here at Harrison Lake, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Threetops Trail. Sprague Creek Campground is a good campground nearby, and the Loneman Mountain Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       A good location for whitewater paddling close to Harrison Lake is Flathead River - Middle Fork, and if you came for an overnight stay Avalanche Campground is a great spot to camp. Harrison Lake in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. A lake close by is Lincoln Lake; Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a brilliant location to get some rest. The amount of precipitation that falls at Harrison Lake is close to the national average; through the month of                  December you get the most snow around here, and April is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. During the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Harrison Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Harrison Lake. Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. If you get bored of Harrison Lake, you could also visit nearby Halfmoon Lake, and close by you discover the Gunsight Pass Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
