Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Harrison Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Harrison Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is a heap of amusing       stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. Flathead River - Middle Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Halfmoon Lake is just a very short distance away. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and don't leave Harrison Lake without first going for a hike along the Threetops Trail. Loneman Mountain can                  be spotted from Harrison Lake; as expected, all our national parks are brilliant places to stop by and Glacier National Park is no exception. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Harrison Lake. Harrison Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Avalanche Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and delightful hiking is available along the Gunsight Pass Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Lewis Range. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Lincoln Lake is a lake close by, and you can stay the night at Sprague Creek Campground. Harrison Lake is located in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls is a fine choice, and there are wonderful sites to look at along the Loneman Mountain Trail.
