Not much rainfall falls here at Harrison Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most while February is commonly the driest month. Comfort Inn Dillon is a great place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Bannack Campground is a delightful spot to camp. All through the months of summer at Harrison Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Summer overnight       lows fall down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Harrison Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Grasshopper Campground, and hiking along the Bull Creek Polecreek Trail is delightful fun. If the weather is good here at Harrison Lake, you can go for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Pioneer                  Mountains. Going for a hike along the Pole Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; at Harrison Lake you can spot Harrison Peak.
