Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Harpers Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Harpers Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Harpers Lake you locate the Blackfoot Divide Trail which is a great hiking trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River. Going for a hike on the Pyramid       Pass Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and you can stay the night at Salmon Lake Campground. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Go for a hike on the Dunham Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Harpers Lake has to offer, you can camp at Russell Gates Memorial Campground. Harpers Lake is a location that is relatively arid regularly; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest                  month of the year is July. Blanchard Creek is a nice place to pop by, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Blanchard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. People from Missoula love to come to Harpers Lake. On a wonderful day you obtain a view of Boyd Mountain from Harpers Lake; Blanchard Flats is a pretty site any time of year.
