The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Brown Gulch is next to Harbin Lake and is certainly a glorious spot to go to, and Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls is a great place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Harbin Lake called the Doris Creek Trail, and       enjoy a round of golf at Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club. A short visit to 28N20W23BABC01 Spring is always worthwhile, and a pleasant close by hotel is Glacier Mountain Lodge. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Harbin Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Harbin Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There are great                  places to look at along the Columbia Mountain Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kalispell here. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and a lake nearby is Kid Lake. At Harbin Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to Harbin Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. A spree to Glacier National Park is worthwhile, and going for a hike on the Alpine Trail is always a delightful adventure. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Lewis Range. You could also explore Cree Lake since you're here at Harbin Lake; it's close by, and camping is available at Lake Blaine Resort Campground. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Harbin Lake. Brown Creek flows through this vicinity, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Swan River.
