Conestoga Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and a great spot to have a look at nearby is Lower Birch Creek Bar. It is very waterless here at Hanson Reservoir regularly; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Fox Creek is close to Hanson Reservoir and is always a joy to take a look       at, and Hanson Reservoir Dam is wonderful. Stay the night at Springs Campground; there are tremendous places to look at along the Divide Trail. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do in the Big Belt Mountains. Hit the slopes at Showdown in close proximity, and a lake nearby is Alkali Lake. All the outdoors cool things right next door to Hanson Reservoir will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hanson Reservoir is not the only site nearby, Jackson Lake is                  a nearby lake. Summertime highs at Hanson Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hanson Reservoir are in the 10's.
