A great site for whitewater       paddling near Handkerchief Lake is Flathead River - Middle Fork, and a charming lake like Margaret Lake is a splendid location to take a look at. For the period of the days of summer at Handkerchief Lake highs are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
