The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. If you need a place to stay Bad Rock B&B is a pleasant choice, and Glacier National Park is a tremendous location nearby. This location, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. There are some great whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork; dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel. Halfmoon Lake gets very little       rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow, and April meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to Halfmoon Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Swanberg Mountain can be spotted from Halfmoon Lake; while you're here you can take a hike along the Howe Lake Trail. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Halfmoon Lake. Not far from Halfmoon Lake, you'll find Lake West which is a beautiful                  lake, and a round of golf at nearby Glacier View Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Lewis Range. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Lake Five. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Glacier Haven RV and Campground if you're here at Halfmoon Lake, and naturally McDonald Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the South Boundary Trail, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Kalispell here. Camping is available at San Suz-Ed Trailer Park Campground, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Ousel Peak Trail. High temperatures at Halfmoon Lake during the warm months are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
