If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Halfmoon Lake. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do near Halfmoon Lake. There's good hiking along the Howe Lake Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Glacier View Golf Club is around here. Glacier Haven RV and Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and Bad Rock B&B is a good site to get some rest. All year is a good time in the Lewis Range if you like

| | the outdoors. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Halfmoon Lake; Ousel Peak Trail is a fine local trail; if you need a spot to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a good choice.

one. This lake is so wonderful. Glacier National Park is a perfect place in close proximity to Halfmoon Lake; Flathead River - Middle Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
For the period of the summer months highs
here at Halfmoon Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Halfmoon Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable
stuff in the Lewis Range. Don't leave Halfmoon Lake without first going for a hike along the South Boundary Trail, and hey, McDonald Creek is a good local stream.
The view of Swanberg Mountain from Halfmoon Lake is beautiful;
San Suz-Ed Trailer Park Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range.
