This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a good place to spend a night or two. Halfmoon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Lewis Range. Camping at Sprague Creek Campground is always a glorious experience, and at Halfmoon Lake you can see Loneman Mountain. That right there is a heap       of fun things already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. Get covered with water paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork; if you're looking for a good tour, Glacier National Park is pretty near. Any time is a magnificent time at Halfmoon Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Halfmoon Lake is right by the Threetops Trail, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Harrison Lake is one of those close by. Lakes are brilliant; Stanton Lake is a lake that's close                  to Halfmoon Lake, and drift down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak. Take a hike on the Grant Ridge Trail, and do pop by Nyack Creek while you're here at Halfmoon Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Halfmoon Lake reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Halfmoon Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The Loneman Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came to camp Murray Bay Campground is a great spot to do that.
