Hairpin Lake is always a pleasure to visit. The Beauty Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and soar down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Absaroka Range. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Red Lodge Mountain is near Hairpin Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. There's so much to do here at Hairpin Lake that you need to camp here for a while,

During the summer months highs here at Hairpin Lake get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. came to camp M-K Campground is a good place to do that, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a pleasant panorama of Mount Rearguard from Hairpin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Cary Inn is a great choice,
and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hairpin Lake; Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is a glorious local trail.

interested in lakes, Cresent Lake is one of those nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Hairpin Lake is close to the national average; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the
months is February.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Absaroka Range. A perfect nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Red Lodge, and if you come at the right time of year, Rosebud Creek - East offers some good whitewater.
