Go to Hackney Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Everybody loves South Fork Meadows, obviously you could also explore Upper Bear Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Bear Creek Pass Campground is always a great experience, and skiing at Lost Trail is one of those things you just ought to do. Peak Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Fish Lake Dam is pretty and it's in the neighborhood of Hackney Lake, and the Ward Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. All through the summer highs here at Hackney Lake reach
the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hackney Lake are in the 10's.
