Greenough Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at M-K Campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Custer National Forest Trail. There's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you thrill seekers, and hey, Gotta ski right? Red Lodge Mountain is a wonderful place to do that. So much cool stuff to do here at Greenough Lake, too wonderful to be true. Going for a hike along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; you can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Greenough Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. | |

A great spot to camp here at Greenough Lake is Parkside Campground, and at Greenough Lake you can make out Black Pyramid Mountain. Greenough Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. At Greenough Lake throughout the warm days
of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Greenough Lake.
