Green Lake Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Green Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sleeping wolf Campground and RV Park. It is very arid here at Green Lake usually; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along       the West Fork Jones Creek National Recreation Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Two Medicine River offers some tremendous whitewater. Go for a hike on the Muskrat Creek Trail, and Green Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, West Fork Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Through the long summer days highs here at Green Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs                  are in the 20's while Green Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
