For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Green Lake through the wintertime generally descend into the 0's. Green Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Sleeping wolf Campground and RV Park is a delightful local campground; hiking along the       Jones Creek National Recreation Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Green Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a splendid place for that, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Two Medicine River. While you're here at Green Lake, you could also visit beautiful Green Lake, and Green Lake is right by the West Fork Jones Creek National Recreation Trail. So much enjoyable stuff right next                  door to Green Lake, simply mind-boggling. Super 8 Motel - Cut Bank is a nice place to get some rest. Not far from Green Lake you get some glorious water scenery at Green Lake Dam; why not take a refreshing hike along the Muskrat Creek Trail.
