Lakes? Sure, Little Green Lake is close by, and you can go for a hike on the Pilot Creek Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Green Lake; through June this area sees the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone in a kayak, and don't leave Green Lake without first going for a hike along the North Crandall Trail. And if that's       not enough there's plenty more entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillwater River; Snow Lake is a great lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Big Timber. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Green Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Colter Campground is a brilliant local campground; you can catch a glimpse of Iceberg Peak from Green Lake. Just                  can't get enough of Green Lake. Going for a hike on the Republic Trail is always a fine adventure; camping at Soda Butte Campground is always a good experience. Alp Rock is an interesting place to check out while at Green Lake; getting to Sky Top Creek from Green Lake is trouble-free. Through the summertime at Green Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's.
