Go to Green Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Near Green Lake you stumble on the Granite Loop Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and you're possibly interested in lakes, Alp Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. The Upper Granite Loop Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Green Lake, and Green Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Creek Campground is a great local campground. Green Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. All the outdoors entertaining things in close proximity to Green Lake will keep you coming back many times. There is a great hiking trail next to Green Lake called
the Copeland Lake Trail, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun, and if you need a place to stay Cary Inn is a good choice.
