This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Absaroka Range. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Granite Loop Trail, and do take a look at Lake Creek since you're here at Green Lake. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and while you're here, you could also pop by striking Estelle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Red Lodge Mountain if you're here. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Park Rapids, and you'll locate a gorgeous lake called Whitcomb Lake. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Green Lake; through summer nights                  temperatures are in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Green Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Green Lake is close to the national average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Beartooth Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Upper Granite Loop Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Absaroka Range.
