     Green Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Green Lake. Why not camp at Beartooth Lake Campground since you're here at Green Lake, and a visit to Green Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Park Rapids. And that's not all you can do here in the Absaroka Range. Lakes are such serene sites, why not visit Ghost Lake near Green Lake, and you can go for a hike on the  
   Granite Loop Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail near Green Lake called the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and a good site to camp here at Green Lake is Lake Creek Campground. Going for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, and there's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you adrenaline people. So much entertaining stuff in the Absaroka Range, just impressive. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater
 
               of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and naturally Lake Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth going to.
This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. For the duration of the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Green Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 30's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Green Lake are in the 0's. Kidney Lake is a good lake near Green Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Red Lodge Mountain is reasonably near.
Green Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October.
