     A magnificent nearby hotel is Hidden Village; Arrow Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. A wonderful place to camp here at Grayling Lake is Castle Rock Inn; Moonlight Basin has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Elkhorn; drift down the rapids of Gallatin River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Grayling Lake is right by the Wapiti Ridge Trail.
The Eldridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and
 
   you're sure to bump into some smiling folks from Bozeman here. There's great hiking along the Divide Trail; after a long day outdoors Big Sky Resort is a fine place to spend a night or two. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to Grayling Lake. While you're here at Grayling Lake, you could also go to wonderful North Fork Lake; magnificent skiing awaits you at Big Sky.

               month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Grayling Lake with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Grayling Lake.

There?s this really neat hike a few miles away from us in Big Sky. It starts out near a small pond called Moose Lake, follows a path up some dense forest for a couple of miles, then opens up into these huge rolling meadows surrounded by Cedar Mountain, Pioneer Mountain, and Lone Mountain with a great view of Sphinx Mountain in the distance....
