     There's so much to do here at Gray Wolf Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Campground is a splendid spot for that; there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Crow Creek Trail. Gray Wolf Lake is pretty arid typically; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Twin Campground, and close by you come across the Foothills Trail which is a good hiking trail. You absolutely have to fancy  
   Gray Wolf Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast; the top of Blacktail Peak is easily spotted from Gray Wolf Lake.
The Angels Bathing Pool is a tremendous lake close to Gray Wolf Lake; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Montana Snowbowl since you're here. During the summer months highs here at Gray Wolf Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Through the wintertime this
 
               place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Gray Wolf Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Missoula here, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Marshall Mountain.
Lakes are such serene spots, why not stop at Whelp Lake in the vicinity of Gray Wolf Lake.
