Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Grasshopper Reservoir drop into the 0's. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Grasshopper Dam right next door       to Grasshopper Reservoir, and Ross Lake is a fine lake close by. Grasshopper Reservoir is pretty dry ordinarily; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
