It is very dehydrated here at Granite Lake usually; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Crazy Mountains. A short spree to Thunder Rapids is always worthwhile, and at Granite Lake you can catch a glimpse of Crazy Peak. A fine close by hotel is Super 8 Motel Big Timber, and obviously, this is a glorious area       for folks who like lakes, Blue Lake is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Half Moon Campground, and Big Timber Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. For the period of the months of summer here at Granite Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Granite Lake sink into the 10's.
