So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Granite Lake, too good to be true. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Hill Reservoir; Mill Creek Campground is a good campground here. Not much rain falls here at Granite Lake; June is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Granite Lake without       first going for a hike along the Louise Lake National Recreation Trail, and after a long day outdoors Ruby Hotel & Sump Saloon is a great site to spend a night or two. A trip to Bow Basin revitalizes the spirit, and there's good hiking along the Quartz Hill Trail. If you need a location to stay Chick's Bar & Motel is a good choice, and camping at Granite Lake is great fun, Balanced Rock Campground is a great local campground. Throughout the days of summer,                  highs commonly are in the 80's at Granite Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Granite Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Good hiking is available along the Lost Cabin Lake Recreation Trail.
