This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Cairn Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and don't leave Granite Lake without first going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. You need to pop by Granite Glacier while you're here at Granite Lake; whitewater paddling is nice on Clarks Fork Yellowstone. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. If you came for an overnight stay

| | Emerald Lake Campground is a glorious place to camp, and delightful hiking is available along the Lake Reno Trail. Granite Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lowary Lake is in the vicinity of Granite Lake; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West. At Granite Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. Highs throughout the wintertime | |

along the Crazy Lakes Trail, and Chief Joseph Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Big Timber is a glorious location to spend a night or two. Any time is a delightful
time at Granite Lake if you adore the outdoors. Granite Lake sits in the shade of the Beartooth Mountains, and the view of Beartooth Mountains is stunning. The amount of precipitation that falls at Granite Lake is close to the
national average; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October.

We stayed at the very large two family campsite, the deepest if I remember right next to the path taking you to the bridge. My grandparents now rest there forever and so do my memories of childhood.
