    Many people like to go to Granite Lake. A quick tour to Lake Creek near Granite Lake is a great idea, and hiking along the Granite Loop Trail is wonderful fun. Granite Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground, and since you're here, you could also stop by wonderful Ghost Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Absaroka Range has to offer. You can run the rapids of  
   Clarks Fork Yellowstone River right next door to Granite Lake; the skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is perfect.
Having a glorious time in the Absaroka Range is uncomplicated. Granite Lake is right by the Upper Granite Loop Trail; there's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you thrill seekers. Summertime highs at Granite Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. High temperatures all through
 
               the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Granite Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Kidney Lake in the vicinity of Granite Lake, it's a beautiful lake; going for a hike along the Copeland Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Granite Lake is a good location of common rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October.
This spot is great, just check out all the amusing stuff to do right next door to Granite Lake. It's always fine to stop at Park Rapids, and camping at Hunter Peak Campground is always a glorious experience.
