    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Grace Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead; a pleasant spot to camp here at Grace Lake is Elkhorn. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Grace Lake is peerless! You can run the rapids of Gallatin River near Grace Lake; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Sky since you're here. Grace Lake is pretty waterless typically; during the month of May you get the most rain around  
   here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Throughout the summertime at Grace Lake highs are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Grace Lake. You'll discover a striking lake called North Fork Lake near Grace Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the
 
               Eldridge Trail.
You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Moonlight Basin, and Grace Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Castle Rock Inn is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Bozeman here, and the vista of Mount Chipperfield is pretty. Hidden Village is a magnificent place to get some rest, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Divide Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A scenic lake like Lillian Lake close to Grace Lake is a nice place to pop by, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Wapiti Ridge Trail.

There?s this really neat hike a few miles away from us in Big Sky. It starts out near a small pond called Moose Lake, follows a path up some dense forest for a couple of miles, then opens up into these huge rolling meadows surrounded by Cedar Mountain, Pioneer Mountain, and Lone Mountain with a great view of Sphinx Mountain in the distance....
