Grace Lake is a beautiful

lake in the Lewis Range. But wait, there's more to do near Grace Lake. Do pay a visit to Glacier National Park since you're here at Grace Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some glorious whitewater. Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the Lewis Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and the Waterton Valley Trail offers hiking
               at its best.
Grace Lake gets very little rain; December is when you get the most snow here while April is frequently the driest month. So much fun stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too glorious to be true. Lakes? Sure, Gyrfalcon Lake is in the neighborhood, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Grace Lake. If you came to camp Fish Creek Campground is a perfect place to do that, and there's fine hiking along the West Lakes Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Stanton Creek Lodge is always a good experience, and wonderful hiking is available along the Camas Creek Trail.

Gyrfalcon Lake
Fabulously beautiful area, dense grizzly population and zero people.  Not too hard to get to crossing Flattop on bits of an obsolete trail from Fifty Mountain, then skirt along the open hills sides near Trapper Peak.  One scary steep hardpan ravine must be crossed where a slip would send you plunging 1000 feet down to Lake Nahsukin.  An axe would be helpful, otherwise just run real fast so your momentum will carry you to good footing on the far side....
